Cities lack privacy; sometimes people need a moment alone. This project sought to improve peoples' experience of urbanity by providing a private niche for the public realm. Total privacy cannot be provided for obvious reason; the tri-layer pattern mediates the inside and out, while providing visual interest to passersby.
